Yellow Bunt Cake

This recipe was inspired by my husband's love of un-frosted yellow cake. (The man in sooooo boring - why have plain old yellow cake when you can have chocolate?) In fact, this is how he prefers to eat his cake:

Take one cup, fill it 2/3 full of milk.
Cut a large piece of cake.
Dunk cake in milk.
Eat with a spoon.

I ask you, is there anything more strange then taking a perfectly good piece of cake and drownding it in a cup of whole milk?

So here's the recipe:

1 package yellow cake mix
1 4 oz. package vanilla pudding (Here's where you can get really creative - see note below.)
4 eggs
1 cup water
1/4 cup oil

Just throw it all together and mix well. Pour into a well greased and floured bunt cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes. Cool 30 minutes in the pan before inverting to serving plate.

Creative note: You can substitute any cake mix and any pudding mix in this recipe. For example, you could do yellow cake and banana pudding, chocolate cake and pistatio pudding, funfetti cake and white chocolate pudding, and etc.

I couldn't serve it plain! I mean really! So I dusted it with powdered sugar to add pizzaze. It looks good, but it taseted even better.
